Seasons Greetings from Lake Oswego Basketball!

The Lake Oswego Basketball Program is wishing you a Happy Holidays! It’s an exciting time of year and the boys are ready to get the season underway. Once again, we have one of the toughest schedules in the state to start off the year and look forward to the challenge ahead. Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see you at the games this year!

12/18 Home Opener vs. Jesuit (LOYTBA Night)

Pack the gym for the first home game of the 2019-2020 season! At halftime help celebrate the Boys Lacrosse State Championship as we recognize the players and coaches for their tremendous achievement. All youth players who show up in their LOYTBA jersey will receive free admission and have the chance to join the Varsity team in the locker room for Coach Cho’s pregame talk.

Donations for Salem Hoops Project

We are actively taking donations of clothes, shoes, and backpacks to give to our friends at the Salem Hoops Project; which uses basketball as a means to serve underprivileged youth in the Salem area.  The founder of the organization has also served in the past as an assistant coach at McKay High School. Please bring any donations to our home game December 18th.

All donations will be dropped off on December 22nd when the varsity basketball program travels down to Salem to assist with their holiday clinic.

Navy/White Scrimmage

We are so grateful for the sponsors and organizers of our first annual Navy/White Scrimmage Night, held this past November 24th. The event was an opportunity for the high school and youth program to gather together and offer a preview for the season ahead. The night included team photos for all 5 HS teams,  clinic for the LOYTBA players, and a parent meeting where Coach Cho outlined the vision and mission of the program in our community.

The night concluded with grade level scrimmages for the youth and match ups between the Freshman A & B and JV and JVII teams. A scrimmage between the Varsity squad capped off the night. It also served as a fundraiser for the program to help cover program expenses that allow us to continue to serve and impact the community through basketball. We are still in the process of collecting (Tax-Deductible) donations that can be addressed to LOHS, attention: Lake Oswego Boys Basketball account.

If you would like to support the continued growth of the program in the community, please feel free to contact Coach Cho at coachmarshallcho@gmail.com.
